The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for most of the state as the next phase of the super storm makes its way towards Adelaide.
The warning is for damaging winds and abnormally high tides.
Multiple low pressure systems will increase the potential for damaging winds and rainfall Thursday afternoon and into the evening, according to the bureau.
It has forecast strong to gale force winds with gusts of up to 120 km/h and sea levels along parts of Spencer Gulf and Gulf St Vincent coastlines reaching about one metre higher than the highest tide of the year.
