BANNED -- The movie activists don’t want you to see

1 min read

Extreme elements within the feminist movement have shut down Australian screenings of a film about men’s issues.

While some cinemas gave in to petitions not to screen The Red Pill in 2016, the owner of one cinema that went ahead was abused, Bettina Arndt told Leon Byner.

“The cinema had death threats, he had his car keyed, the feminists tried to close down his cinema by posting all these damaging review on the website,” Bettina said.

“We’ve seen a growing trend here for people to use social media particularly the left… shutting down anything they don’t agree with.”

The film follows feminist filmmaker Cassie Jaye as she begins questioning her own beliefs after spending a year documenting the Men’s Rights Movements in the US.

“Here’s a movie about how badly the feminists are behaving and not allowing men’s issues to be talked about, and what do they do in Australia? They stop us even showing the movie,” Bettina said.

“The most violent thing in that movie are the feminists.”

Bettina is encouraging citizens to run their own screenings of the film via fan-force.com.
