Adelaide Set To Sweat Through Another Heat Wave

1 min read

The Bureau of Meteorology reports hot conditions, currently impacting WA, are set to spread across the country this week.

Temperatures in Adelaide will hit 38C on Wednesday and a scorching 42C on Thursday. No rain is likely in the capital until Saturday.

In good news for fire-ravaged Kangaroo Island, rain – and potentially heavy falls – is expected to hit the area on Friday.

Sydney will see the temperatures hit from Friday, with variation of ten degrees; 31C in the city and 40C out west. Melbourne will also not see the top temp until Friday, hitting 41C.

Meanwhile, Queensland has received flood warnings across much of the state with heavy rain and thunderstorms predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday.
