A city restaurant has been fined after it served beer to children at a birthday party — one of whom became so drunk she was later hospitalised.
According to The Advertiser:
The SA Licensing Court heard today the girl had to be carried from Gouger Street’s Go-In Hot Pot Train Chinese restaurant, vomited on a bus and feel asleep in a bus stop.
The girl was among children aged 15 to 17 who the court heard were served Heineken beer at a birthday party on August 28.
The restaurant’s director today, through her lawyer, accepted charges of serving alcohol to a minor and serving an intoxicated person.
