A Severe Weather Warning for DAMAGING WINDS has been issued for:
Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges and parts of Mid North districts.

Damaging wind gusts about Adelaide and the Mt Lofty Ranges this afternoon and evening
According to the BOM:
A trough and associated low pressure system over South Australia is directing vigorous and gusty easterly winds across the Mt Lofty Ranges and over the Adelaide Metropolitan area.
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS with peak gusts of 90 to 100 km/h, are possible on and west of the Mt Lofty Ranges, about the Adelaide Metropolitan area, and into parts of the Mid North district this afternoon.
The DAMAGING WIND GUSTS are expected to ease during the evening.
Locations which may be affected include Adelaide and Gawler.
Since 9am the strongest gusts recorded have been:
82km/h at Parafield at 1:46pm
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
