Gyms and rec centres will close and community sport has been halted in reaction to a COVID cluster in Adelaide.
Premier Steven Marshall has also announced some general advice, including working from home if possible and wearing a mask in public where social distancing is not possible.
The restrictions are expected to be in place for two weeks, depending on how the situation develops.
Mr Marshall said on Monday:
“We are now facing our biggest test to date… we are working around the clock to stay ahead of this cluster.
“We will throw absolutely everything at this to get on top of the cluster… the next 24 hours will be critical but we’re not going to wait for the situation to deteriorate.”
