The Outer Harbor train line will be shut down for two months and the Gawler line for two weeks while the Park Tce underpass is built at Bowden.
Outer Harbor and Grange: closed from 10pm Sunday 24 September to Sunday 3 December 2017.
Gawler: closed between Adelaide and Mawson Interchange from first service Sunday 1 October until last service Sunday 15 October 2017.
Temporary buses will operate on both routes while the work is carried out.
“[The Outer Harbor line] is a long closure and it will cause inconvenience to those Outer Harbour passengers, but we will put on bus services and express bus services,” Transport Minister Stephen Mullighan said.
“It is a big project and a really important one for Adelaide, because it gets rid of one of the busiest road crossings,” Mr Mullighan said.
