Australians will start receiving their $1080 tax cut bonus from Friday.
According to 7 News:
Many hard-working Australians are waking up $1000 richer – with the government’s tax cut bonus being transferred into accounts from today.
Australians have been assured by the tax office that from today, they will receive as much $1080 in their bank accounts, if they’re one of more than a million people who’ve already lodged their tax return for last financial year.
Workers earning between $48,000 and $90,000 a year will receive the full benefit, which gradually reduces to zero for those earning up to $126,000 – after the coalition’s tax cuts passed parliament.
