The Bloody Aftermath Of A Machete Attack In Adelaide Overnight

Three people have been arrested after a man was allegedly attacked with a machete in Sturt on Wednesday night.

According to The Advertiser:

The incident occurred just before 11.30pm on Wednesday at a block of units on Parkmore Ave in Sturt.

Police found a man with stab wounds to his torso, while another man had minor head injuries. Their injuries are non life-threatening.

A 27-year-old man from Novar Gardens, who was injured, and a 21-year-old Sturt woman were arrested at the scene and have been charged with aggravated assault and affray.

While the woman was granted bail, the injured man is still receiving medical treatment.

A third person, a 28-year-old man from Edwardstown, was also arrested for aggravated assault cause harm.

Police say the incident is not random.
