**UPDATE** — Temps are expected to hit 41 on Friday after the Bureau of Meteorology released an updated forecast for Adelaide.
The revision means Adelaide will now sweat through two forty-plus days in a row, with Thursday tipped to also reach 41.
The forecast for Wednesday is also up and is now expected to reach 37.
The new temps come as the SES warns Tour Down Under riders and spectators to take extra care in the extreme heat.
