A woman aged in her 30s has been rushed to St Vincents’ Hospital after being stabbed in the upper chest and is reportedly in a “stable condition”.
A witness named Leon told 2GB:
“I wasn’t really sure what he was up to but he clearly had a knife on his hand.
“I was heading north from King St, he had a little bit of blood on his shirt.
“There were police, there were people with his phones out, there were a couple of fireys.
“He was a young guy probably about 23, 24, definitely on something.
“He didn’t sound normal, obviously he wasn’t acting normal.”
