The Sunrise crew have had a field day following the stunning departure of Lisa Wilkinson from rival breakfast TV show Today.
During a live cross on Wednesday, Sunrise weather presenter Sam Mac mentioned that iPhone PA ‘Siri’ was available to fill and breakfast telly vacancies.
“I am available for any breakfast TV hosting gigs,” Siri could be heard saying, according to a Daily Mail report.
Sam added: “How exciting is that? She’s officially putting her hand up to say if there’s gigs going in Australia, Siri could be our next co-host — she’s very talented and cheap.”
Then Kochie: “Not here, down the road.”
At one point, Sam Mac let the iPhone robot do his entire weather report.
