Steven Marshall and the state Liberal party have been ordered to print retractions relating to a campaign ad that promised SA householders a saving of $300 on power bills.
Electoral Commissioner Mike Sherry wrote in a letter dated 13 March 2018:
“I have determined that the advertising containing the at least implied statement of fact set out above… contains a statement purporting to be a statement of fact that is inaccurate and misleading to a material extent.”

Labor has also been told to print retractions over a flyer that stated “the Libs have a secret plan to cut $557 million of the GST share from South Australia”.
