Loxton-born nurse Kirsty Boden will receive a posthumous honour from the Queen for her bravery during the London Bridge terror attack in 2017.
Eight people, including Ms Boden, were killed when terrorists attacked members of the public on London Bridge and at Borough Market.
Foreign Minister Julie Bishop paid tribute to Ms Boden who was killed while trying to help victims of the attack:
“She showed courage and compassion putting the lives of others before hers during a terrifying and tragic event.”
