A so-called moonbow has appeared in South Australia’s south-east.
According to the BOM, the moonbow (or lunar rainbow) showed up on a webcam at Mount Gambier Airport at about 3am on Tuesday morning.
Moonbows are formed the same way as a regular rainbow, but with the light coming from the moon instead of from the sun.
