A man and a woman have been arrested after driving a stolen car to a court appearance on Tuesday.
According to SAPOL:
Police noticed the blue Holden sedan parked in a fast food car park near the Christies Beach Magistrates Court about 2pm on Tuesday 30 July. Checks revealed the car had been stolen from Blakeview on 23 July.
The alleged driver, a 34-year-old Whyalla Norrie man, had just attended court in relation to charges of illegal use of a motor vehicle.
He and his passenger, a 23-year-old Whyalla Stuart woman, were both arrested and charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle.
The driver was also charged with driving while disqualified. He did not apply for bail and will reappear in court today.
The woman was granted bail to attend the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 29 August, when, hopefully, she will catch the bus.
