Pilko Airs A Big Listener Rumour About The Adelaide Oval

1 min read

Tony Pilkington gets a tip-off about the Adelaide Oval receiving interest in selling its naming rights.

Pilko aired the rumour from listener ‘Fiona’ on Wednesday:

“Have the Adelaide Oval people and the government been approached by a huge multinational company looking for the naming rights for the Adelaide Oval?” Pilko said.

“According to Fiona, there is some suggestion that one of the big multinationals — we’re talking about a biggun — is wondering if the Adelaide Oval naming rights are up for grabs. It would be a good thing to get a hold of.”

Pilko also went to air with some gossip about possible interest from an interstate AFL club in SACA boss Keith Bradshaw. According to ‘Brett’:

“Keith Bradshaw is being considered for a senior position with one of the Melbourne-based AFL clubs.

“If you were going to leave as the boss of SACA you’d actually want to be boss of whatever Melbourne club you went to. He is certainly being considered.

“I don’t think Keith knows anything about this at all.”
