Police are currently at a beach in the states’ mid-north after a man’s body was found overnight.
Police and paramedics were called to a camping ground at Telowie Beach (Germein Bay) just before 10.30pm on Thursday 22 February were the body of a 49-year-old man from Nuriootpa was found.
A 39-year-old Port Pirie man, who is known to the victim, has been arrested and charged with murder and will appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court later today.
Detectives from Major Crime are assisting local detectives with the investigation.
