Elective surgeries have been cancelled across major Adelaide hospitals as doctors stop work in their bid for better pay.
An SA Health spokeswoman told The Advertiser:
“While we are working to ensure impact across the system is kept to a minimum, some non-urgent elective surgeries will be rescheduled to occur within a clinically appropriate time frame.”
Elective surgeries have been cancelled at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and Modbury Hospital.
