Four Pedestrians Have Been Killed In One Month, And Three Were Hit Just Yesterday

Jan 31, 2019

The RAA is urging pedestrians to take care crossing roads following four deaths since December and an awful day yesterday when three people were hit within hours of each other.

On Wednesday an 82-year-old woman was hit at Plympton, a schoolboy was hit at Elizabeth Grove and another pedestrian was hit at Mansfield Park.

These incidents follow four pedestrian deaths on Adelaide roads since late December.

The RAA’s Charles Mountain has told The Advertiser:

“If there’s a pedestrian crossing facility nearby, it’s worth the walk to it to use it so you can get safely across the road.”
