The former boss of the state’s Motor Accident Commission Ben Tuffnell has been charged with drink driving and two counts of assaulting police.

Tuffnell is further charged with resisting police and failing to comply with a police direction to leave his vehicle. His lawyer says he'll contest the charges. @theTiser

Tuffnell has also worked as a chief of staff and advisor for state Premiers, Deputy Premiers and Treasurers, and with Dept Treasury and Finance. In 2017 he started with the SA Tourism Commission. @theTiser
