Explosives were used to demolish a 47-metre high bunker at the decommissioned Northern Power Station in Port Augusta on Tuesday.
The coal bunker, which was 25m-long and 20m-wide, weighed 3000 tonnes.
The power station was closed by Alinta in 2015 and decommissioning began in 2016.
