UPDATE, 10.36am — According to The Advertiser’s chief court reporter Sean Fewster, Justice Anne Bampton said:
“Walsh’s schizophrenia is stable, and he has had an excellent response to antipsychotic medication.
“Psychiatrists are of the opinion he will comply with any conditions — one psychiatrist considered Walsh would only need to be accompanied by one supervisor.
“All agree he is ready to be offered the opportunity to show he can be trusted in the community, which is also necessary for his ongoing rehabilitation.”

The son of murdered Adelaide Crows coach Phil Walsh has reportedly been granted “supervised release” to receive treatment for multiple sclerosis.
Cy Walsh was last year ordered to spend the rest of his life under psychiatric supervision after he was found not guilty due to mental incompetence of murdering his father.
Earlier in 2017 Cy Walsh was diagnosed with MS.
