AFL HQ in Melbourne was evacuated after a hoax threat was phoned into the building on Thursday.
Vic Police were on site conducting safety checks — this comes a day after the league temporarily changed its logo to a new look ‘YES’ version in support of same-sex marriage.
The AFL’s Patrick Keane tweeted on Thursday:
“AFL House had hoax threat phoned to building this morning. All staff were removed while police checks proceed. Expected to return shortly.”
