A Two-Year-Old SA Boy Has Meningococcal Disease

SA Health has advised a two-year-old boy from “rural South Australia” has a case of invasive meningococcal serogroup B.

He is in a stable condition in hospital.

People who have been in contact with the boy and “five close contacts” have been told to take antibiotics.
