A Popular Adelaide Festival Has Been Dumped

1 min read

The Adelaide Fashion Festival has been dropped by the state government.

According to The Advertiser:

The State Government has axed its Adelaide Fashion Festival, which has been the major platform for South Australia’s established and emerging fashion talent for more than a decade.

It will be replaced by an expanded version of its retail-based spin-off the Vogue Festival, which began in 2017 and is run by the Adelaide City Council and Rundle Mall Management Authority.

It is unclear whether the State Government, which initially invested $2 million in AFF, will provide further funding.
