Plans are underway to build a hub in England that could launch flights that would reach Australia in less than two hours.
According to 7 News:
“A trip between Australia and the UK could soon take as little as 90 minutes, with a new space port planned.
“The hub would be built in Cornwall, in south England, if the space agency gets regulatory approval, the Telegraph reports.
“Virgin Orbit is leading the charge, and will be building the facility, with funds contributed by the UK Space Agency and the Cornwall Council.”
