Should her response be illegal? Surely this is a normal way to react…
What if you came home from a long day, only to catch your husband – the father of your two children – cheating on you upstairs!
What would you do?

You’d probably shout, scream, grab a shoe or something and throw it at your cheating husband.
But then he has you arrested.
That would be completely unfair, right?
This is what happened to Christine Black, a 46-year-old mum and teacher in Florida.

After being arrested, she was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon… And yes, the deadly weapon in question was a shoe!
So the police in Florida are choosing to hold Christine in a jail cell while far more threatening criminals roam the streets.
Is this right? Is it even fair?
Larry Black – the cheating husband in question – decided to play the victim, telling police Christine was being abusive. He says that the shoe hit him on the left side of his face. However, a police report shows that he wasn’t injured and refused to undergo any medical attention.
So why on earth is Christine in jail and being charged?
If Larry was not seriously injured and refused medical attention, could he not have been a bit more understanding? Especially as he was the one cheating and Christine had to catch him and the mistress!
Does she really deserve to be held in jail without bail for what a lot of us would consider a normal reaction to such a scene?
