The world’s best cyclists are on show during the Santos Tour Down Under -- and so are South Australia’s world-class tourist attractions.

Here are some of the highlights to catch off the track during the men’s and women’s races next year, 10-20 January 2019.

Nurioopta – Angaston (Women’s Stage 2: 11 January)

Norwood – Angaston (Men’s Stage 2: 16 January)

-    Campbelltown Food Trail - From large, well known businesses to others hidden away in the back streets - to businesses that have been handed down to the next generation, The Flavours of Campbelltown Food Trail shines a spotlight on the wide variety of food available in the area!

-    Barossa and cycling - The Barossa's high-quality cycling and walking network extends 40 kilometres from Angaston to Gawler via the three main townships of Nuriootpa, Tanunda and Lyndoch.

-    Barossa food and wine - Just under an hour's drive from Adelaide is the famed Barossa wine region. A region not only home to 155 wineries and over 80 cellar doors, but a region that is culturally recognised and appreciated for its fine wine, regional food, art, music and heritage.

Glenelg - Strathalbyn (Men’s Stage 5: Saturday 19 January)

-    Challenge Tour – Stage 5 will also see amateur riders travel the route in the Challenge Tour presented by The Advertiser. Participants will be tested with leg-burning climbs and treated to coastal views before also finishing in Strathalbyn. With start locations at Glenelg, Myponga, Victor Harbor and Goolwa, there’s a distance for everyone. And every rider receives a Challenge Tour jersey to wear on the ride!

-    Jetty Road, Glenelg – Enjoy food, shopping, the picturesque beach and a whole lot of fun with a morning in Glenelg before Stage 5 kicks off at 11.30am.

-    Stage 5 Santos Tour Down Under – Stage 5 of the 2019 edition will see the UCI WorldTour peloton ride south from Glenelg, down the Southern Expressway to Myponga before veering east towards Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, Middleton and Goolwa before climbing into the hills for the finish in Strathalbyn.

-    Willunga Farmers Market – Held every Saturday, the Willunga Farmers Market brings together over 80 local vendors and producers of artisan food products for an absolute feast for the senses.

-    Summer & Spokes in Strathalbyn - Strathalbyn will come alive and welcomes visitors to enjoy sampling local gourmet goodies, live entertainment and family friendly activities.

-    Celebrate Among the Vines – Enjoy an evening of live entertainment under the stars in McLaren Vale.
