Two Canadian high school students Matthew Ho and Asad Muhammed have launched a Lego man almost 25 kilometres above sea level - high enough to capture video of the plastic toy hovering above the curvature of the Earth.

The youtube footage of the experiment, which took over 4 months in planning, has had over 2 million views in just a few days.
