![]() | Matthew PantelisMatthew is the News Director at FIVEaa and he hosts the daily news hour from 7pm to 8pm in which he presents the major stories of each day. Matthew joined FIVEaa in 1996 and has a Bachelor of Arts from Deakin University, with majors in Journalism, Politics and Philosophy. He's covered some of Adelaide's biggest stories in politics, crime and current affairs and holds a Media Award for Radio Reporting. Matthew's also travelled to Asia to report on the tragic aftermath of the 2004 tsunami. He's worked previously as a chauffeur, waiter, and call-centre operator and was Promotions Manager for an insurance company. In his spare time, he likes reading, long walks and spending time relaxing with his young family. |

![]() | Claire MurphyClaire Murphy is the breakfast news editor and all round floater for FIVEaa and sister station NOVA 919. Claire began her career 7 years ago as a breakfast announcer at 5CC in Port Lincoln, moving to Melbourne to work as a copywriter in 2003, then returning to her home town of Adelaide in 2004. She has since worked in breakfast radio in Murray Bridge and as a traffic reporter for both FIVEaa and the Sunrise breakfast show on channel 7. After being a regular fixture on the FIVEaa breakfast show as a traffic reporter with Tony and Keith, Claire has since become a part of the newsroom, fulfilling a lifelong dream of being a "journo". When Claire isn't at work, you'll either find her shopping til she drops or enjoying a nice sav blanc somewhere near the water. |
![]() | Kendall BrettigKendall Brettig studied journalism at the Uni of SA before starting her career in news as a cadet at 5AD .. covering stories like the NCA bombing .. 7 years later she made the switch to talkback radio and FIVEaa .. editing and reading breakfast news before moving into the more family-friendly afternoon/drive shift. Kendall is married with two young kids and when she's not at work she likes playing netball, watching footy or hanging out at playgrounds and beaches around Adelaide. Kendall can't stand: Cornesy not going to the news on time!! |
![]() | Natasha ThieleNatasha Thiele studied a Bachelor of Media at Adelaide University, then a Graduate Diploma in Journalism at University of South Australia. She began learning the ropes of broadcasting at Radio Adelaide and Fresh FM, then found herself reading the news on NOVA 919 and now FIVEaa. She was born in Keith in the State's south-east and likes being called Tash, is a chocoholic, loves socialising, the news (obviously) and enjoys travelling the world. ![]() | Natalie Di FavaNatalie Di Fava works a variety of shifts in the FIVEaa newsroom, and brings you the news on weeknights and weekends. A South-Aussie girl born-and-bred, Natalie studied a journalism degree at the University of South Australia at Magill, and moved into print journalism at the Stock Journal before working in communications and marketing. She joined the Nova news team in December 2006, and took up a full-time role at FIVEaa in June last year. In her spare time, Natalie enjoys watching sports, spending time with family and friends, and reading.. |
