Actor and comedian Greg Fleet is a recovering heroin addict -- but he told Jade Robran the current ice epidemic is the worst thing he’s seen.

“It’s crazy,” Fleety told Jade on FIVEaa. “I, in the last year or so of my addiction, took ice quite a few times, so I know what it’s like, but it gets hold of people.”

“I think it’s a much more dangerous drug, much more, because it makes you crazy very quickly.”

LISTEN HERE:

“If you did it every day within a week you’d start being delusional, and then after two weeks you’d start being paranoid,” he said.

“After a while it’s like everyone’s filming me, there are people hiding in the house -- crazy, crazy things. I’ve known people who have torn their houses apart looking for microphones.

“People on ice are unpredictable and some are incredible violent.”

But Fleety’s days of hard drugs are behind him now…

“When I see people on it, it actually pushes me further away,” he said.

“I’m not trying, I’m not fighting, I’m not struggling.

“It was probably tempting for about a week, and it’s been a couple of years now. It seems like someone else’s life.”
