Michael Atkinson compares Australia to Nazi-Germany however step by step he tries to shut the door on freedom of speech by introducing laws while blocking other policies that support free choice. It is no secret Michael Atkinson is afraid of the Internet, I'm guessing with this level of paranoia he will soon be too paranoid to actually leave his office.

This is ridiculous. I say flashmob, outside his office with pitch forks and torches.

Were we are now to scared to speak out for fear of government reprisal through litigation and defamation charges. This is not a democratic state any more. This is a controlling Marxist NUS and Socialist LABOUR GOVERNMENT.

This governments arrogance has no bounds. Being a public servant I can teel you we get no response from ministers such as Foley who is slashing the service and setting up flawed departments such as shared services. This is another extension of the police state they are setting up. Really is sad to see in 2010.

Professional ***** that is Atkinson, Rann and others can say what they want and when they want. None of us has power to shut they up, nor even reply properly.

Courts are not for but against society not for truth but for their position, so for court it is easy to find me or any comentator committing a crime which hurts the government.

By their definition any criticism of court is defamatory yet courts are mafia like organisations.

This legislation is supported by the Liberal Party, so both parties should be condemned for what I see as a breach of one of the basic rights under a democratic society - that of free speech.
The Labor Party as instigator of the legislation is showing that it's idea of transparent government is a one way mirror looking outwards.

Under the Electoral Act, election advertising on the TV, radio and newspapers requires appropriate attribution. The amendment extends this to the Internet so that electioneering on the 'net needs to be attributed as well. This is the intent, and Atkinson's belief that it can be used otherwise does not make it so.

Where's Jill Bottrall in all this mess? I know she's gone to Amanda's hairdresser. You'd get more sense there than the place where our highly paid monkey's sit - Parliament. If it were a true Parliament it would be full of wise owls. Not batty birds or dim witted monkeys (although the pollies squabble like monkeys). We are adults & as such are entitled to our view point & don't need Media Mike, Jill Bottrall or AG (always goofy) M.A. telling us what we can or can't do, blog or say.
