The September 2011 Riverbank design sketch shifts the footbridge downstream and lowers it. Cost-cutting?

 The Elder Rotunda has gone!

The South Australian Government's new sketch for the Riverbank precinct released on 29 September 2011 incorporates important and controversial new additions and changes.

*The Adelaide Oval footbridge across the  Torrens has moved!
*The Elder Rotunda seems to have disappeared.
*A major new commercial building blocks the view of the Adelaide  Railway Station facade.
*Proposed casino additions no longer reach out  to the river.
*A restaurant extends from the Intercontinental Hotel towards the river.
*The Hajek sculpture court is transformed into a public square.
