An Australia Day protest over indigenous rights ended with the Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, and the Opposition Leader, Tony Abbott, being escorted away by police with riot shields.

Political Reporter Michael Pachi was an eyewitness to the events and spoke with Keith Conlon & John Kenneally.
