Last Week a QANTAS flight from Sydney was diverted to Canberra from Adelaide Airport for being slightly late for the landing curfew of 11pm. Leon Byner discusses this issue with John McCardle from Adelaide Airport Limited, Neil Murphy from the freight industry, Steve Georganas  Federal Member for Hindmarsh and state opposition Leader Isobel Redmond.

Too bad if all airports had the same curfew we had, because late planes would not be able to land anywhere, and would crash and burn killing all on board - but that would be ok, because rules are rules, and we mustn't disturb the sleep of people who choose to live in the flight path, right?

Assuming we had access to alien technology, which is known to be silent...what will people complain of next? Too bright? There'll never be an end to it!
