The Adelaide Zoo says jobs are not at risk as a result of its mounting debt.
The State government has ordered a financial review after it was revealed the Zoo has fallen into a $24 million black hole.
The debt is mainly due to the cost of the giant Panda enclosure.
But the Zoo's Chris West insists there's no chance of closure, and it's business as usual.
"We'll continue to be the organisation we have been in recent years and continue to offer a terrific experience and benefit to the people of South Australia."
