An episode of Undercover Boss in the US ended with a restaurant being shut down on the spot.

The show, which sees the boss of a company go undercover in an entry-level position to experience the company from a different perspective, has been launched in a number of countries, including Australia.

In this episode, the CEO of a fast food company took a job in one of the restaurants. He was subjected to verbal abuse after objecting to others being verbally abused and even has his managerial style questioned by the manager of the store.

"I'm not going to let you continue telling me I'm disrespecting my crew. Have you been in the fast food business before?" the manager asks.

The owner tries to stay undercover, but he eventually breaks cover, explaining he's been in the fast food industry for 20 years and that he's the CEO of the company.

Right here, right now, we're going to shut the restaurant down," he says before the dumbfounded employee.
