Soccer Riot Spreads

Egyptian police have fired tear gas at around 10,000 demonstrators outside the Interior Ministry in Cairo.

They're protesting the security forces' failure to prevent a soccer riot in Port Said yesterday, that killed dozens of people.

Fans from two rival clubs invaded the pitch after the game, throwing fireworks, bottles and rocks. That led to a stampede that left 74 dead and over 1000 injured.
