It's uncertain how many Adelaide call centre workers will lose their positions in Westpac's latest job cull.

Up to 400 workers will lose their jobs across Australia, the redundancies will take effect in the next two months.

South Australia has Westpac call centres in Lockleys and in the city.

Federal Member for Hindmarsh Steve Georganis says management is showing little respect to loyal workers in our state.

"There are people who have been working there for a very long time and I think the way they've approach their workforce in the past couple of weeks is pretty ruthless."

Any Westpac customers who are real Australians and love their country should withdraw all Westpac accounts and change to an Australian bank. And not do business or support any company that goes off shore. Good ridance to them I say!

That,s Business Steve. Can,t blame all these companies for leaving South Australia. There are closures & job cuts every week now. Why? Costs to much to do Business here & we have a State Govt. completely out of it,s depth & Unions at every turn.
