Liberal Senator Mary Jo Fischer has been found guilty of assault

The Senator arrived in court this morning, knowing a conviction could end her political future

Mary Jo Fischer was cleared of shoplifting from the Frewville Foodland last December but was found guilty of assualting the security guard who tried to prevent her leaving the premises.

The judge has decided not to record a conviction which means the Sentor will be allowed to continue her career in SA Parliament.
