Blakey has been on fire this season producing some career best performances with his "Tributes" to retiring players, departing coaches and struggling football clubs.

With the Crows season seemingly in tatters and media speculation mounting about its aging stars, the tearful goodbyes began. Keefy and Jarvey had a none too subtle swipe at retiring Adelaide Captain Simon Goodwin and after a listener complaint Blakey issued an "apology" in song -

A few weeks later a not so tearful Brett Burton announced his retirement prompting the Bowie inspired -

And then, for the mutually agreed sacking of Power Coach Mark Williams, Blakey felt a Kenny Rogers style diddy was the best way to explain the ousting of the Port Adelaide legend.
