The latest opinion poll shows the coalition still holds an election winning lead, despite Labor's position improving slightly

The Opposition's primary vote has dropped one point to 44% but still well out in front of Labor on 32%.

Prime Minister Julia Gillard has improved in her standing as preferred PM, she's up 3 points to 39% but still trails opposition leader Tony Abbott by one point.
