If the Rann government is re-elected on Saturday, it's promising to set up special centres in our schools to help students with behavioural problems.

The Better Behaviour Centres is part of a $14 million package to improve the performance of state schools.

The six new centres will be located within existing school grounds ... with at least two in the country.

Education minister Jane Lomax-Smith says it's crucial to identify and treat problem children early.
