K-Rudd Challenge Weeks Away

It's being reported Kevin Rudd could launch a challenge to Prime Minister Julia Gillard within weeks.

There are claims some senior Labor MP's believe he could make a move for the top job before the Queensland state election on March 24.

Meantime Mr Rudd flies out today to Germany to attend a security conference.

The foreign minister will be on a panel discussing America, Europe and the Rise of Asia, chaired by former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
