There's more uncertainty about Holden's future in Australia with claims the cargiant is considering not designing the Commodore here from 2014.

The Engineers union says the car giant has told them, the 2014 Commodore is likely to be the last created at its Fisherman's Bend plant in Victoria.

But Holden says it hasn't made any decision yet on the plant's future.

It's raised questions about the Elizabeth plant where the Commodore is made.
