Premier Jay Weatherill says the details of a package offered to car giant Holden to stay in South Australia, will be revealed when the deal is signed.
It's estimated Holden would need a hand out of around 200 million dollars to keep its Elizabeth plant operational.
The opposition says South Australians are being kept in the dark when it comes to the details of the rescue package.
But Mr Weatherill says everything will be revealed in good time.
"The benefits are very clear for keeping Holden open. The cost will be revealed as soon as the boardroom in Detroit signs off on this deal. The community will have the opportunity to scrutinise this deal very carefully. The real question is, why aren't the Liberal opposition behind us in trying to secure a future for Holden?"
