Injured bikie Vince Focarelli is reportedly refusing police protection for him and his family following Sunday's ambush at Dry Creek.

The self appointed Commancheros leader was shot four times while his son was killed in the attack .

He's told detectives he won't help them with their investigations.

Focarelli has undergone surgery to remove one of the bullets from his skull at the RAH.
