Security vision will be reviewed following a bomb scare at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Vince Focarelli regularly causes concern for police and when his name features on a mysterious package it's enough to cause shockwaves in the city.

About 100 people were evacuated from the RAH just before 5pm last night after the person who delivered it to the hospital's information counter could not be found.

Police bomb squad experts were called in to examine the package and it was eventually deemed non suspicious.

Mr Focarelli, a Comancheroes bikie leader, is still in hospital after he was wounded and his step son killed in a shoot out at Dry Creek on Sunday.

It's believed Focarelli is lucky to be alive after receiving multiple gun shot wounds including one to his head.

The bikie code of silence is again hampering the police investigation. If you have any information that may help, please call Bank SA Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
