Flights To Tassie And New Zealand Still Effected

Flights to Tasmania and New Zealand are still affected by the volcanic ash cloud.

Qantas expected flights to resume as normal this morning but the airline's now advising all services to New Zealand have been cancelled for the day.

While flights to Tasmania have been suspended to 5pm.

Jetstar has cancelled all their New Zealand flights until at least 10 o'clock this morning and further advice will be issued later today.

Virgin has cancelled its New Zealand flights for the day while Tasmanian services are suspended until at least this afternoon.
